Prototype

The game- Prototype! I said that I would write about the game soon and here it is....
Prototype is an open world action game where you are Alex Mercer, a shape shifter with superhuman strength. He was infected by a virus called Black Light which gave him the super powers, while it made half the population of New york City zombies. Like what are the odds of that? I personally think if I ever get infected by a virus like this, I wont even get the chance to be a zombie. All I would ever get is a nasty cough and a bitter after taste in the mouth...
The game is set in the new york city. Its an open world game, meaning that you get to go anywhere you want in the city. And with a lot of side missions along with the main mission, city exploring is much more interesting.

The combat is the best part of the game. You can throw almost everything in the game, cars, tanks, debris, people, you name it. Also there are many exciting powers to choose from. Also there are a bunch of combos to choose from, and you can unlock a lot more as the game progresses. In addition to his own abilities, Alex can take the weapons from defeated or absorbed enemies. These include automatic rifles, machine guns, grenade launchers, and missile launchers. You can also take the military vehicles and give it a shot too. And that's one of the most interesting part of the game. What's more thrilling than hijacking a chopper and demolishing an entire infected building???

Also the visual design of the game is a treat. Hats off to the game designers for that. The game music is fantastic. And the story line, it is also very absorbing indeed.
The downsides of the game include short game play (if you only play the main missions), and slight controlling problems during combat, and the fun of scaling the city may wear off after sometime...
