The Fresher's Day

So finally, my blog about fresher's day. It's been sometime since my fresher's, almost two weeks, so it's a late post. But you know what they say, it's never too late. So my fresher's day.....
Needless to say, but it was a complete success. Hats off to seniors for arranging it well, and also for not calling me to the stage. They have earlier informed us that we will have our lunch with them and they have earnestly asked us not to miss the event. Even though there was a tempting prospect of treat with the seniors, many of us (includes me) wanted to bunk the event. There was always a danger of being called to the stage to the seniors and asked to do some thing or another. And that was what you can call a scary propect. Anyway just before our class ended for lunch, the seniors miraculously appeared in front of the door, and literally herded us to the seminar hall. Thus they effectively thwarted our bunking plans. After the lunch (which was good) started our fresher's day event. In short, our event comprised dances of various styles ( spot dances, comprising of various genres like dappamkootu, kadaapuram style dance, western style dances, and even gay dance!!! and many other events all which performed by freshers(us).

"After all, it's your day!", the seniors said.

And our day it was.....

Apart from the dances, there were some other interesting programs like one where some us were asked to propose senior to girls with so much romance that they have to say yes. But no one succeeded in getting a 'yes' with the whole group of senior guys standing in front of the stage flexing their muscles. We honestly did not want them to 'trouble'.

Thus it was, my fresher's day.......
